WHAT THIS
WEEK MEANS
THE DIVISIONS
Divisions operate independently — no inter-division games, separate standings, separate champion.
PLAYOFF FORMAT
Top four teams in each division qualify. Every postseason game is win-or-go-home.
Double protection — advances directly to the Week 10 Championship.
Week 7 bye — enters the Challenger Round in Week 8.
Plays Seed 4 in Week 7 — win-or-go-home.
Plays Seed 3 in Week 7 — win-or-go-home.
Seeds 5–8 (Men's) and 5–6 (Women's) do not advance to the championship bracket. Each division crowns its own champion.
STANDINGS
& SCORING
Because teams may play different numbers of games, seeding uses Points Percentage — not raw points alone:
POINTS % = STANDINGS POINTS ÷ (GAMES PLAYED × 2)
TIEBREAKER ORDER
- Points percentage
- Minimum required games completed
- Head-to-head result
- Capped point differential (±21/game)
- Total points scored
- Fewest points allowed
- League-administered draw or ruling

COACH Q&A
Why do the top seeds receive byes? +
Seed 1 is protected all the way to the Week 10 Championship. Seed 2 gets a Week 7 bye and enters in Week 8. It rewards the strongest regular-season/tournament results with a shorter, safer path through the postseason.
How are teams ranked with different games played? +
Standings use Points Percentage (Standings Points ÷ (Games Played × 2)) instead of raw points, so teams aren't penalized or rewarded just for playing more or fewer games.
Do all tournament games count? +
Yes. All three mini-tournament games (Weeks 2, 4, and 6) count toward regular standings, not just seeding.
Can teams request extra games? +
No. Extra standings opportunities are earned only by advancing in a mini-tournament — teams can't request additional games just to accumulate points.
How are elimination ties resolved? +
Regular placement games may end in a tie. Elimination games may not — they're resolved using the official FPFF/IFAF tiebreaker procedure.
When will exact days and times be released? +
The weekly date windows above are locked in now. Exact game days/times, final roster deadlines, and any rule modifications will be published before Week 1 (week of Sept 13, 2026).
